Intimate Paris, France Wedding in the 5th Arrondissement II France Wedding Photographer

I heard from Amy and Aaron only a week and a half before their Paris wedding... They had had some scheduling issues with the Mairie (town hall) where they were staying in Paris. (To be married legally in France it must be done by in a town hall in the district where you are living or staying.) Eventually their wedding ceremony was scheduled but a week after their friends and family were scheduled to leave! Can you imagine? But staying calm cool and collected they decided that this was still the intimate ceremony that they wanted and instead of having friends take photos they would hire a photographer.

Enter, Me.

Spending such a huge moment with these two just 15 minutes after meeting them for the first time outside of email was really moving for me. Amy and Aaron seemed to have the excited jitters when they arrived, bouquet In hand, outside the Mairie du 5ème arrondissement. The ceremony was short and sweet and when the big "do you accept this woman/man to be your lawfully wedded wife/husband?" came up of course the bride and groom couldn't help but smile huge and say a big "Oui"!

After the ceremony we explored their area of Paris right by the Pantheon taking photographs to commemorate this beautiful day and send back home with the memories and postcards of Paris.
